Tri-County Rural Electric Cooperative has released a discount card to our members. The card, called the “Co-op Connections Card,” is providing discounts and/or services from participating businesses. There is no sign-up fee for members or participating businesses. The only cost involved is the discount and/or service offered by the participating businesses.

Along with the local benefits, the Co-op Connections Card program benefits cooperative members by offering 10% to 60% savings on most prescriptions at over 48,000 independent pharmacies and national chains including CVS, Walgreens, Wal-Mart, Target and more.

The advantages for participating businesses include free local and national advertising, and a minimum of three Co-op Connections Cards. Tri-County will list your business on our Co-op Connections Card website, which is searchable by zip code so your business could be found by someone traveling across the country. We will also list participating businesses in our monthly Penn Lines magazine.

The Co-op Connections Card was mailed to our 18,000 members in 2009. We want to make the card as valuable as possible but to do this we need your help. We need you to join the program which can be completed in three easy steps. 1. Decide on your offer. 2. Complete a Participating Business Contract sheet. 3. Return the contract to Bryan Berguson by fax # 570-662-2142 or mail to: Tri-County REC, PO BOX 526, Mansfield PA 16933. Offers are valid for one year and may be renewed, changed or cancelled at that time.
