TRI-CO CONNECTIONS AWARDED FUNDS FOR BROADBAND EXPANSION

MANSFIELD, Pa. (Feb. 4, 2021) — The Federal Communications Commission has awarded Tri-Co Connections, the broadband internet subsidiary of Tri-County Rural Electric Cooperative, $1.1 million in annual support for 10 years to bring fiber-optic internet service to portions of Potter, Tioga, Bradford and Lycoming counties. (Jan. 27, 2021) — Tri-County Rural Electric Cooperative’s long-time top executive, President and CEO Craig Eccher, will be retiring from his post in May, closing out a career with the co-op that spanned three decades. TRI-COUNTY RETURNING $750,000 IN CAPITAL CREDITS TO MEMBERS

MANSFIELD, Pa. (Dec. 2, 2020) — Tri-County Rural Electric Cooperative will be returning $750,000 in capital credits to members and former members of the cooperative beginning in December. The Tri-County board of directors voted in October to approve the retirement of capital credits allocated to members’ accounts in 1989 and 2019.
