TWENTY STAFF MEMBERS FROM TRI-COUNTY RURAL ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE AND TRI-CO CONNECTIONS JOIN FORCES TO SUPPORT SAM CHILDREN AND YOUTH SERVICES
Mansfield, PA— Tri-County Rural Electric Cooperative (REC) and its subsidiary,
Tri-Co Connections have joined forces to make a positive impact on the lives of young people through their partnership with SAM Children and Youth Services. Under the leadership of Karen Delong, Support Specialist in the Engineering and Operations Department at Tri-County REC, a team of twenty dedicated staff members have come together to support this worthy cause.
The Tri-County REC team has a longstanding tradition of giving back to the community, and this year, they are excited to involve their subsidiary, Tri-Co Connections, in their philanthropic efforts. Aaron Young, Co-President and CEO, expressed his enthusiasm for collaborating with SAM Children and Youth Services, stating, “We are proud to continue our commitment to the community alongside Tri-Co Connections.” The dedication and generosity of our employees reflect the true spirit of the holidays and Tri-County’s principle of ‘Concern for Community.’
The SAM Children and Youth Services Line offers a range of programs to families in multiple counties. Currently, their services include specialized programs for families in Tioga County, C&Y services in Pike County, Bradford County, and Lackawanna County. Additionally, they provide Truancy (Advancing School Attendance Program) in Berks County and Joint Planning Team services in York County.
